In Rome I plan to visit the catacombs and the sistinechapel where Michael Angelo painted the ceiling. The catacombs are hundreds of miles long under Rome and have art painted telling the story of a persecuted people,Christian, servants of yashua. These caves where Christians were buried in the first century tell the story of the life of a Christian living in fear of death and being fed to the lions on a daily basis. The caves were also used to house all the lions for the sport of watching the lions eat the Christians. The Christians were also burned alive to light their gardens and they were buried alive in this underground, the book by Charles Dickens titled "Pictures of Italy"with no pictures, tells of children that ran to the Romans crying out that they were Christian so they may be killed with their parents. The price paid by early Christians to bear that name and share that blame is untold in books or art. Christianity was legalized in 330AD and for a while the wholesale killing stopped until the church started it again. This trip will complete my one years Journal about where I think the world and I stand. Many things are so sad in history and time does not ease a pain. Only victory in the Lord will stop the suffering when we do stand before the throne of God with rejoicing and see our ancest-ors are alive and well in Heaven. Dickens toured the dark and wet catacombs dripping water and recording history,it was printed and carried by the London Daily News Paper as a Journal much like the Journal I am writing here about 150 years later. I am priviledged to see and to write about the eternal things of God,basically, all these martyrs have paid the price in death by suffering as did He whose life, body and blood was Divine. We must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and love and serve Him to be saved. We must be will-ing to die for him like all those millions did who went on before to stand for truth and be burned at the stake and beheaded or fed to the lions in the great arenas of Rome as a testimony of their faith and trust in God. I want to see the past history so that I can search for the future. Will the church wakeup to this serious condition? No,the real church is in the hearts of God,s people. Daily Journal Continued November9,1998, By-William Thomas Thompson The year 2000 I believe will be the year of Jubilee When all debt will be free and all of the people can begin a new, God's will to do,prepare thyself to meet your maker and your God. The Lord God of creation is one and the same, one God for all peo-ple. Be not deceived,God is not mocked, let all of us worship Him.
